Integrative
approach
There are many different models of counselling and
psychotherapy available today and it is easy to get
confused. Main quality of the Integrative approach I
practice is its relational value. Every hour we
spend together is your own time and space, where
nothing is expected of you, except for the
commitment to being honest and willing to share. I
will always strive to be fully present and available
for my clients.
I am specially interested in working with expats,
people with multi-cultural background or members of
mixed couples. Helping people, whether they are
facing the very ordinary but demanding problems of
adult life or the extraordinary difficulties of
dealing with catastrophic loss, grief, illness and
trauma.
The areas for
which I can offer help are:
◦ Pathological
bereavement
◦
Coping with
injury or illness
◦
Mild
depression – reactive, circumstantial
◦
Family
relationship issues
◦
Marital or
relational difficulties
◦
Self-image and
identity issues
◦
Lack of
direction, alienation, existential
problem |
◦ General anxieties and
phobias
◦
Work related
problems
◦
Challenging
life changes: birth, death
◦
Move of house
or relocation
◦
Loss -
relationship, employment, health
◦
Stress and
mild post traumatic stress
◦
Moving on from
substance-dependent lifestyles

Cross-Cultural
Experience
I was born in Russia and lived in Italy, France,
UK and now Spain. Married to a French National, I
have an experience of a multi-cultural family.
How long?
The average length of a personal therapy is between
12 and 24 months. But it is completely up to you to
decide when you wish to leave therapy. Nevertheless,
I believe that every effective therapy relies on a
real and intimate relationship between the client
and their therapist, and this relationship takes
time to build.
Normally, after the first assessment, if we take the
decision to go on with the therapy, I would ask you
to commit to 6 initial sessions. Afterwards, we will
review the situation together and then you can
decide if you want to engage in therapy with me.
Initial contact
I offer an initial 30 min consultation to
prospective clients. This is a chance for us to meet
and for you to express your needs and learn more
about the therapeutic process.
This first contact is more formal than the sessions
so feel free to come to me with your questions and
concerns. Simply contact me directly using the
telephone number above or send an email specifying
your question.
I am a Therapist in Advanced Training and still in
my second year of clinical practice and as such I
offer reduced rates for on-going consultations.
Throughout my time as therapist I am subject to
supervision by a fully qualified Psychotherapist.
